Dear APC Members:

We need your help!

If you are able, please put Thursday, January 9th, 6:30pm on your calendar and plan to attend the Anne Arundel County District 6 Budget Town Hall Meeting at Annapolis Middle School at 1399 Forest Drive, Annapolis.

WHY do APC members need to attend, you ask?

Because, as the popularity of pickleball continues to grow, the need for more courts continues to grow, too. With great persistence and lobbying, we were able to influence the county to add courts to PAL Park and Bestgate. We have seen that our influence really makes an impact!

We can’t let up now!

Long term we are going to need more courts… outdoors and INDOORS! But we need to continue to educate our lawmakers about the rising popularity of the sport, the  physical and mental health benefits and the need for the county to keep on pace with facilities to support the growth. We will be on the agenda to discuss our long term needs.

So please attend, wear your APC gear and BRING YOUR PADDLE!

Last year, APC members came “en masse” to one of these meetings and made our presence known by waving our paddles when it came time for our comments to be heard… and WE WERE NOTICED! Let’s make an impact again – we have seen that this approach works!

Please come support the future of pickleball in our area. Let’s make our presence known!
