Annapolis Pickleball Club Serves Up $3,500 for the SPCA of Anne Arundel County! 

The Annapolis Pickleball Club (APC) is thrilled to announce that this year’s 2025 APC Bay Capital Mortgage Open, held September 12–14, raised an incredible $3,500 to support the SPCA of Anne Arundel County!

Over a weekend filled with exciting matches, community spirit, and great sportsmanship, players, APC members, and fans came together to make a difference. Between the silent auction, paddle raffle, and generous donations from our pickleball community, the love for both pickleball and pets was on full display.

The SPCA joined in the fun with their mobile animal unit, giving everyone a chance to meet some adorable animals looking for their forever homes. The SPCA of Anne Arundel County provides shelter, medical care, and adoption services for thousands of homeless animals each year — and advocates tirelessly for their wellbeing.

Recently, APC President Peter Gaviorno and Tournament Director Missy Jones proudly presented a check for $3,500 to Kelly Brown, President of the SPCA, and Karri Mann, Treasurer of the SPCA — with a few furry friends joining the celebration, of course! 

A huge thank you to all the players, sponsors, and supporters who made this year’s tournament and fundraiser such a success. Your generosity helps give animals in our community a second chance at life and love.
