Indoor Play

Pip Moyer Recreation Center

The PIP Moyer Rec Center is again open for pickleball play.  The center is open from 6 am to 8 pm daily, although subject to change, We may play pickleball in the Auxiliary Gym during all normal opening hours and on Court #3,  except when there are conflicts with other rec center events, such as youth basketball.  In order to continue with our Covid-19 recovery, there are a number of rules and regulations to which we must comply.  Please note that the current situation is volatile, and policies may change on short notice.  The schedule may change with little or notice. We will attempt to lock in a weekly schedule and communicate changes to the membership.

  1. You must be a rec center member, or pay the daily drop-in fee in order to play.
  2. As of 8/9/21, masks/face coverings must be worn at all times while in the rec center, even while playing.  This rule applies whether you are vaccinated or not..
  3. Reservations are no longer needed. There are no capacity limits at the rec center.
  4. Please share the courts with your fellow members by following our normal rotation, using the signup board, and the A/B/c rating scheme.
  5. Exceptions to the weekly schedule will be communicated via the Open Play Exceptions forum on the web site. Please subscribe to this forum to receive email notifications.
  6. The best case for available hours are: Monday open - 2pm and 5pm - close, Tuesday open - 2pm and 5pm - close, Wednesday no open play due to vaccine clinic, Thursday no open play due to vaccine clinic, Friday open - 2pm and 5pm - close, Saturday open - 4pm, Sunday open - 1pm. We will be allowed to use the aux gym, court #3 or both according to what else is happening.
  7. Other rec center events and rentals may preclude or limit our open play hours. We will communicate such changes when we hear about them.
