Registration for the Midnight Madness Event on Thursday, January 25 from 9:00-11:30 pm at the Pip Moyer Rec Center will open on January 11.
Participation will be limited to 48 participants. When you register, you MUST provide either a DUPR rating or self-rating. These should be honest evaluations of your skill level. Each player will be assigned to a group of either recreational, intermediate, or advanced. Organizers reserve the right to move people from one group to another. Please do not complain about your placement.
None of these matches will be recorded in DUPR.
Nine pickleball courts will be set up on Court #1, Court #3 and the Auxiliary Court and white boards will be used to regulate play. Winners will split up and sign up first, with the 4 waiting players signing up next. The losing players will sign up or rotate off the courts as space allows. Games will be 12 minutes long, regardless of score. Play all the way through to the whistle at the end of 12 minutes.
There will be NO snacks provided, however, if you want to bring something to share, please feel free to do so.
There will be a charge of $10.00 per player to cover the cost of the court rentals. No refunds and no credits will be issued.
You MUST be a current 2024 member of APC to participate. You do not have to pay a drop-in fee or be a member of Pip Moyer.
Please arrive NO EARLIER than 8:45 pm and NO LATER then 9:00 pm. For security reasons, doors will be locked at 9:00 pm.
